Every part here started the same way: somebody in the shop needed one, could not buy a good one, and had a mill free on a Friday.
A machine shop has a way of spreading
We are a car parts company. But the people here also shoot airsoft, rebuild their own golf clubs, and take side-by-sides places they should not.
Every one of those hobbies has the same problem the car world has: the part you want is a stamped, cast, hollow version of the part you should have. So we cut a proper one, and then people asked where to buy it.
That is this whole division. Small runs, no roadmap, held to exactly the standard everything else here is held to. If one of them grows up, it gets a bench of its own.
